Jonathan Jackson
Attorney Jonathan Jackson is your Houston community lawyer, serving the greater Houston area and beyond. After a short career in the NFL, Attorney Jackson attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law where he graduated at the top of his class. Due to an already diverse legal career, which includes a federal clerkship, Attorney Jackson was able to identify the need for a law firm that both serves the community and puts the client’s needs first. The J. Jackson Law Offices is dedicated to recovering maximum settlements and fighting for its’ clients. With a diverse legal practice, focusing on Personal Injury, Estate Law, and Business Consulting, Attorney Jackson possesses the skill set to guide you through any of your legal needs.
Known as "The Sneaker Lawyer," Attorney Jackson combines his love for the law with a passion for sneakers and community service. He regularly volunteers and gives away sneakers at community events along with giving away pairs to clients after a well-fought case. Chief Operating Officer
Alexia McWhinney the Chief Operating Officer for J. Jackson Law Offices where she leads the firm’s estate planning and probate practice and serves as lead business counsel for clients across various industries. Before joining the firm, Alexia served as managing attorney at the McWhinney Law Firm for 5 years and as Legal Counsel at Shell for 3 years. While at Shell, Alexia supported the company’s trading group as a member of the legal team for Shell Oil Products US and gained valuable experience as a member of Shell’s Global Litigation group. She graduated with highest honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, received her MBA from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her BBA from Price College of Business.
Leveraging her extensive background in law and business, Alexia provides strategic counsel to business owners, athletes, and professionals seeking comprehensive wealth planning solutions. She is also committed to educating families on legacy planning and guiding businesses towards sustainable growth and succession planning and her passion for the law is deeply rooted in her genuine desire to serve her clients' needs.

AYSIA N. MAYO-GRAY
Attorney Aysia Mayo-Gray is an experienced personal injury trial attorney who is committed to seeking justice for her clients and has earned a reputation as an aggressive advocate. Aysia is dedicated to helping her clients and their families navigate the litigation journey to secure her clients the compensation they deserve.

Aysia Mayo-Gray earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law and has a plethora of experience working in both public and private sectors. She has worked with many non-profit organizations and committed very early in her career to helping underserved communities.
leadership and community involvement
Prior to her time at J. Jackson Law Offices, Aysia gained experience at the Harris County Attorney’s Office and Lone Star Legal Aid, where she assisted Houston-area citizens with issues such as illegal dumping, water quality and rights, and the degradation of low-income neighborhoods.
Aysia remains active in the Houston Community. She has volunteered with the Third Ward Community Development Corporation and in local Houston schools where she facilitated a high-school level “Street Law” course. Aysia has also volunteered with the NAACP Probono Clinic and Earl Carl Institute as a participant in the Wills and Estates Clinic, while also volunteering with the Innocence Project.
Aysia is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, and Federal Courts for the Southern District of Texas.
